Finaly we can move forward again. I have just finished a mold making/resin casting course so i can now make the final 'parts', those that are either missing from this kit such as the hinges on the engine deck or others that are to badly reproduced to use ie. the spare track links and the machineguns. I'll be using Dragons Panther G for the track links and tow cable ends and thier King tiger for the MG34 as they are the best I've seen in plastic.
For the engine deck hinges i cast a mold from the Italeri King Tiger. So far so good, but I'm having terrible trouble casting the resin parts from the mold as the parts are so thin, I'm having a lot of airbubble trouble. I think my mold is too small, but i still have an idea or two up my sleeve.
